There are many different reasons why people get tattoos. Some tattoos signify group initiation, commemorate cultural rituals, result from life altering events, or honor love ones. Other reasons for tattoos are to establish individualism, statements of self-expression, for personal fulfillment, and some tattoos are for attention. So then, what is the real meaning of lower back tattoos, are they to please or tease?I find it amusing when a woman with a lower back tattoo claims her tattoo represents deep personal meaning, and is intended for her pleasure only. First, if a tattoo were a visual reminder that brings about internal pleasure, then would you agree it would be more enjoyable if it were in a place the woman could actually see it? Tattoo reality, women get lower back tattoos to be sexy. The lower back is one of the most sensual and alluring areas of the female body. Tattoos on the lower back are deliberate designs to attract attention, and to reveal attitude, and confidence. And, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be seen as sexy. Reality, women who continue to try and justify lower back tattoos as something they are not are only teasing themselves.
